Friends of Fire Station 6 is proud to announce its endorsement of Bart
Hansen for Vancouver City Council. Councilman Hansen’s flawless
record of supporting and voting for public safety issues in the City of
Vancouver speaks for itself. He was the only member of our current
City Council to vote against budget cuts that closed fire station 6 in
December 2010.
We believe our police officers and firefighters play a vital role in the
protection and safety of every citizen. Bart Hansen not only shares this
belief but fights for it every day. He continues to regularly attend
neighborhood association meetings throughout the city and address
citizen’s concerns first-hand.
We are proud to add our endorsement to the growing list of those
supporting Bart’s campaign and his vision for our community. Along
with our local firefighters, we believe Bart Hansen has earned the vote
and support of every Vancouver resident.
