Vancouver, WA. – Bart Hansen announced today that Royce Pollard, former Mayor of America's Vancouver is supporting his election to City Council. Hansen was appointed in January to an open seat on the Council, and now seeks election in November 2010 to retain the seat.

Hansen is a Vancouver, Washington native and graduated from Clark College with an Associates of Arts degree and Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. His employer is Clark Public Utilities, where he is the Office Services Manager. He is married (Carly) and has two young children.
“Mr. Hansen represents the future of our city”, stated Pollard, “He has a young family, and brings needed energy to the council as they face some tough decisions in the near future. I believe he is the right person for the job.”
